CMY is a professional subtractive color mixing system for high-end stage lights, consisting of cyan, magenta and yellow filter lenses. Different from RGB additive light mixing, it adjusts colors by filtering and absorbing specific light from white light sources.
It features smooth color transition, uniform color temperature and excellent skin tone restoration. Widely used in theaters, studios and stage performances, it delivers softer and more natural lighting effects. Due to physical limitations, pure black cannot be superimposed by CMY alone.
