Restarting the light source is difficult in conventional circuit designs because the high temperature generated during the operation of the gas discharge bulb creates vapor pressure resistance due to the saturated gas inside. The light source can only be immediately restarted after the gas pressure inside the bulb has been reduced to a cold state. International and domestic manufacturers generally use conventional circuit designs.

 

Program Control
International and domestic moving head lights commonly use the DMX data format for program files. The principle of DMX512: The DMX data stream speed is 250K, meaning each bit is a standard 4 microseconds. The DMX data format is divided into the following parts:

(1) IDLE or NODMX situation: A high-level signal when there is no DMX data packet output;

(2) BREAK: The start of a DMX data packet is a low-level output header of 88 microseconds;

(3) MARKAFTERBREAK (MAB): MAB is followed by BREAK, which is an 8-microsecond high-level signal or two pulses;

(4) STARTCODE (SC): SC is the start code for the data stream. It has the same format as the channel data, generally 11 pulses or 44 microseconds;

(5) MARKTIMEBETWEENFRAMES (MTBF): MTBF can be 0-1 second, less than 1 second, and can be high level before the start bit of each channel;

(6) CHANNELDATA (CD): The channel data frame after SC has a logic format of 1-512 or less than 512;

(7) MARKTIMEBETWEENPACKETS (MTBP): A high level is sent after the valid data is sent.

 

The effect of the moving head light is produced by a combination of different shapes of scenery, different color changes, different viewing angles, changes in horizontal and vertical light output angles, speed, flicker speed, aperture size changes, focal length changes, etc. All these attribute indicators are achieved through the transmission of stepper motors. By defining and programming the electrical operating parameters of the stepper motors, the control of the moving head light is completed.
